Richard and Kathryn Read of Seafayre Cuisine
are delighted to announce an Objective 1 fisheries award of over
£4,000 to upgrade their freezer and telephone system.
Seafayre Cuisine was set up 11 years ago in
the supply of portioned and graded Cornish fresh fish to hotels,
restaurants and shops around the County, this includes frozen and
chilled products.
The old telephone system could not cope with
the volume of calls that come into the office so a new advanced
system is to be installed. This system will have a number of lines
added and voice messaging system to handle and redirect calls when
lines are busy. This means that the business is able to handle all
enquiries and orders effectively.
Seafayre Cuisine will also purchase a new
freezer which will double their present capacity, enabling them to
hold the increased stock levels.
Richard Read partner of Seafayre Cuisine said
"Quality is the way forward in the fish we supply to the
service we offer, as we are expanding outside the County more and
more, to many high class restaurants demanding fresh Cornish fish.
This has meant it necessary for us to relocate to our new larger
factory where the new equipment will be installed."
Alison Elvey of South West Pesca Ltd added "Objective
1 Fisheries grants can help fish businesses upgrade their premises
and equipment to meet customer demands. I am pleased to see fish
processors making use of the funds to help their businesses grow."
